The two lodges – Kingfisher and Swallows – offer ground floor accommodation throughout and both have the same layout.

The spacious main living area is open plan and has an impressive vaulted ceiling with French doors leading outside to a full length verandah which overlooks the trout lake. Guests can enjoy meals out on the verandah and watch the resident wildlife which includes kingfishers, swallows, barn owls, hares and ducks to name a few. The second lake which is stocked with carp is just across the driveway.

There is ample parking and Swallows Lodge also has ramped access for a wheelchair or pushchair.

The unfenced lake makes it advisable to keep young children under close supervision.
