Aldeburgh

An attractive, unspoilt coastal town

Aldeburgh is an attractive unspoilt coastal town internationally famous for its annual festival of music and art started by Benjamin Britten. The festival takes place in June each year at nearby Snape Maltings. The town has many independent shops to enjoy. The fisherman still draw their boats up on to the shore and sell the fish from the beach. If you prefer you could always sample the excellent local fish and chips from one of the town’s restaurants.
